Grahame is the Director & CEO of TSSA & BAAM Consulting, having first joined the BAAM team in November 2002.

Grahame is a pragmatic remedial consultant with expertise in concrete durability and condition assessment of structures and has over 15 years experience in residential strata buildings, condition assessment, specifications, tender and contract administration. He is also considered an Expert Witness in Home Building Act warranty claims.  Prior to joining BAAM, Grahame held the position of senior engineer for approximately 5 years at Strata Engineering Solutions.


Grahame earned his BE(Civil), from the University of Technology, Sydney and his Master of Engineering Studies, from the University of Sydney.  His final year paper was focused on Concrete durability deterioration causes, assessment and remediation.


He has been an invited speaker for various industry bodies including Concrete Institute of Australia, Australasian Corrosion Association, Australasian Concrete Repair Association, and  Cement & Concrete Services, on various topics including concrete repair specifications, processes of concrete deterioration, and forensic investigations.


 Additionally, Grahame also holds the current position of Treasurer, NSW Branch for Australasian Corrosion Association (ACA NSW), having served on the committee since 2005 including roles of President and Vice President, and is a current committee member of the Durability Task Group 1 for the Concrete Institute of Australia.


He has also judged for the commercial division of the Newcastle MBA Awards in 2012 and 2013, and for the ACRA bi-annual awards in 2014.

Jonathon has 10 years of experience beginning in cathodic protection at APA Group, in 2012 he discovered his passion for geophysics and was mentored by renowned geophysicist Richard Yelf and went on to found Advance Scanning Services where he developed his skills and begun adapting geophysical techniques and methods to engineering investigations for foundation and structural inspections.

In 2014 he began his geophysics studies at Curtin University majoring in Geophysics & Geology, due to career demands he had to cease his studies in 2015. In 2016 Jonathon was accepted into a post graduate diploma program in engineering geophysics which he graduated with high distinction in 2017.

Since then Jonathon has been at the forefront of research and design, recently completing a 110 sample case study into the condition assessment of Timber piers and piles.  Jonathon is an avid academic and is continuing his studies in materials and structural failures.

Jonathon is an invited speaker at Concrete Institute of Australia (CIA) & Australasian Concrete Repair Association (ACRA) and an active member of  the Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists (ASEG), Australian Institute for Non-destructive Testing (AINDT) &  Australian Concrete Repair Association (ACRA).
